Description: This is the French Lebel M1886/91/16/35 Bayonet. This is the last version of the EPEE Bayonet. This is the arsenal shortened version, the original blades bent or broke off very easily, they were then sent back to be shortened or were used as a fighting knife, with out the rolled steel scabbards being shortened to fit the bayonet they were useless as being used in combat. This one has the removable brass handle. Excellent overall condition. This measures 17.1/4 inches with the blade at 12.3/4 inches..This would be a stand out in any Military collection..
