Description: A good example of an original world war 1 imperial german stahl helm helmet. This has original paint and original liner with intact pads. It has some condition issues from long storage like chipped paint, rusty spots and what looks like a large area of discoloration from a chemical or water. The liner only has one rivet remaining, there is writing, looks like a name inside one of the pads. The good is there are no major dents, there is no rust through, it does have a liner which is usually missing. It displays great as it is or a possible restoration candidate. I have not attempted to clean it. Stamp is SI66.
