Description: This is a beautiful glass dome clock. Made in Germany by Wilmac in the mid 20th century this is the classic anniversary model. I'm selling this clock as NOT WORKING / untested. The mechanics on the back look intact / solid, yet none-the-less it is missing its suspension wire and indeed the suspension springs can be separated from the main unit - see pic. It has no key. Otherwise it appears to my laymen eyes to be in good condition and I'm sure it is an easy to fix for someone who knows about such things! And of course just as it is, it makes a wonderful accent piece. Also of interest is the fact that this clock was sourced at the Sony Prop House in Los Angeles which closed down in September 2023. It has an old Sony label on it, so if you think you may have seen this clock in a film or T.V. show, then you probably have! I have no C.O.A. other then the Sony label which I assume was added so as not to lose the clock on a studio set somewhere. This clock is a fine mantel, shelf or retro desk ornament. One could even take take the clock away and have a nice dome to display a piece of art or another treasure. The (hand blown) dome is in great condition and has a nice oval shape, the size is not to big and not to small. Inscribed on the back it reads: "Jewels Unadjusted, Made In Germany, Wilmac". It also reads "Made In Germany" on its clock-face. Size: 7 3/4" diameter (at base) x 11 1/8" height. It weighs 4lb 4oz. CONDITION, PLEASE READ: Please read the description above. This clock is untested, is missing its suspension wire and has no key, so I'm selling it as NOT WORKING. Aesthetically, as one would expect with an item of this age, it shows definite signs of wear and age. Examine all the pictures closely.
