His work mostly reflects memories from his youth reflecting on the rural Southside Virginia culture of his time, but he does not shy away from national events in any way. Two of his paintings were recently part of a special exhibit in the Virginia's Governor's Mansion. This painting is 9.5" by 7.5" sight - acrylics on board - double matted - under glare proof glass and framed by the artist. The subject of this painting - a young African American boy on a push scooter followed by his sister "My Turn" - may be a memory or observation. 16" by 13" framed.
