Description: I have for sale the Weill Cornell Medical College, Stimson Society medal. The college is located in New York City. The Stimson Society honors donors who have established planned gifts or named Weill Cornell as a beneficiary in their wills or trust. The medal is bronze, it is three inches in diameter, 1/4 inch thick, very heavy and in uncirculated condition. The obverse at the rim reads WEILL CORNELL MEDICAL COLLEGE - STIMSON SOCIETY. There is a high relief male bust in the center, which I believe is Dr Lewis Atterbury Stimson. The reverse is blank and has a felt bottom.
