Description: . Pair of antique/vintage Venetian handprinted Tarot card holders or bookends. Weighted with sand . Made of porcelain or some kind of pottery with handprinted tarot cards. . One depicts the King of Wands on one side & the 7 of swords on other. Other piece depicts the Paige of Wands & the 6 of swords. The third side is unpainted but has the cork stopper where the sand to weight them is placed. They measure 4" tall & 2.75" deep. Rare & very interesting. Not sure of exact use but I presume to be used in the practice of Tarot. Although not marked I know they are Venetian as I sold the matching small dishes last year & they were marked. In excellent condition with just a few tiny flea bite chips & some crazing. See last pictures
