Description: WW 2 U. S. Army Necktie Woven dark green / brown fabric necktie, unlined. Not labeled for fabric content or maker, it looks like it may have had a tag on the inside of the wide end at one point but it has been removed. About 2.75" x 48". Black printed laundry numbers on narrow end C-4605, and same number hand printed with light ink. This laundry number indicates that this tie belonged to a veteran whose last name began with the letter C, and 4605 was the last four digits of their Army Service number. There were 58 WW2 veterans that had this laundry number according to enlistment records. Pre-owned vintage tie in generally good condition but with some wear on the narrow end and knot area and as shown in the photos. Please see all photos for details.
