Description: Lovely 4 drawer and two side hanging drawers. This box is painted in cream, gold and turquoise. There is a label on the bottom that says Made In Japan. The sides, top and fronts of drawers are all decorated in the same fashion. The side drawers have a long wavy turquoise line down the front. Round brass knobs open the sides while beautiful handles open the drawers. There are two drawers that are full size, one that has six compartments, and the bottom is a ring drawer with three rows. It measures 11.5” long, 9.75” high and 6” wide. The side drawers have a magnetic door closure and they each have three hook hangers. It measures 6.5” from the hook to the bottom of the drawer. All the drawers are lined with a turquoise material. The drawers measure 3.25” by 6”. The music box plays when the bottom drawer is opened, and it stops when the bottom drawer is closed. It is kinda finicky and keeps playing when the drawer is closed. It may need some work. I have tried but I cannot place the tune that it plays. There is also a small crack inside the bottom of one of the side doors, shown in last photo. It is in good vintage condition with minor scratches. Thanks for your interest.
