This happens regardless of whether it is sealed in a box or loose like this one. You can find guidance online as to how to clean it and reduce its stickiness. But I have not tried it. Other than that, the joints are a tad loose, material has yellowed, and there is a bit of red paint rub on the head and left fingers. But it still displays well. Comes with everything pictured.
