Description: This vintage large biscuit tin is octagon shaped with a basketweave pattern. The lid has a western style stars and lasso design around the rim but the top is too faded to see. It has a mustard colored handle.On bottom it says: Loose-Wiles Biscuit Company, Bakers of Sunshine Biscuits, Address: New York, N.Y., Made in U.S.A.It was made sometime around the 1930s or 1940s.This basket tin would look great in your primitive, western or farmhouse decor.It is in good vintage condition with signs of age such as the faded lid and rust spots.
