Description: Vintage Gruen Precision Swiss made men's art deco watch dating from approximately 1942. The Curved case is 10K gold filled (front and back) with tarnish and is model 430-498. I have not attempted to polish it but the color looks rose gold. The 17 jewel Swiss made manual wind movement is caliber 440. With a little shaking the watch will run but is erratic. It might run for a day or it might run for a few seconds. It has not been timed for accuracy When setting it sometimes does not want to go back into winding mode. A service will be needed. For parts or repair. The main body of the watch measures 24mm wide x 26mm tall. The total length from top to bottom lugs is 31.25mm. The lug spacing is approximately 16mm.
