Description: Gemmy Industries Promotional item advertising 7UP. From what I understand this item was sent out to grocery store executives to try and make sales for 7UP. It was part of the "Uncola Island" sweepstakes, and one lucky executive won a vacation through one of these birds. This was not a winning bird, but everything is present, including the scratched off sweepstakes card. From what I can tell the bird itself is a normal Pete the Repeat Parrot. But the box is incredibly detailed, and the history to it unlike any Gemmy item I have ever seen. The outer crate box slides over the colorful beach themed box. All the packaging is in excellent condition. This is definitely one of the most unique Gemmy items I have ever seen. I'd bet that very very few exist today. It is quite possible that this is the only one that ever has, or ever will enter a collectors possession. Act now before this chance is gone forever.
