Description: Vintage Favorite No 8 cast iron 3-leg kettle in very good restored condition. The lower interior surfaces has some shallow pitting (visible in photos) and its missing the side mounted ring. No chips, cracks or repairs. This item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process insures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. One round of seasoning at 450 degrees with Crisco for several hours. No chips, cracks or repairs to the pan. This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, pan may take on a brown color.
