Description: Bought this from a western clothing store that was going out of business. They said they found it at an antique shop and paid a hefty price for it. They had it on display like a cigar store indian. Just under 31 inches tall from the base to the tip of his feather. Its chalkware and its heavy. Right around 70lbs so no I won't ship. local pickup only. This is a beautiful piece. whoever made it did a marble glaze over it and it looks really nice. A few minor nicks here and there but nothing that detracts from the piece or is terribly noticeable. Also, pretty great shape for something this old. No date or makers mark I can find but chalkware was being churned out from the early 1900's to the 1960's. so this is definitely an old piece. My grandparents had some chalkware statues similar to this and I believe they were from the 40's or 50's so I would estimate this around that era.
