Description: I am pleased to offer this vintage battery operated tin toy car 1950's era Jaguar by Modern Toys of Japan. This piece measures 7-1/2" in length and features a bright silver and red exterior with detailed litho hubs and interior. Requires one "D" battery. Features steering plus forward/off/backward lever in the front. Marked with the MT logo on the bottom.Fun vintage piece that displays well and would make a nice addition to any collection. Condition:Cosmetically it displays nicely, very light scratching and minor patina...light oxidation on the trim. Tested with battery and the toy is operational, runs a bit slowly however if you "walk it" like a dog kind of, it will drive and the plunger lets you control the steering.
