The glazes used evoke the 70's era. This piece is finely crafted of stoneware. This studio pottery signed by the artist is in good vintage condition. There are two hairline cracks measuring about 1 1/2" that do not go through the thick base. Both appear quite stable. This piece will be wrapped extra securely for shipping. See my photos for more detail. Even so this is truly and amazing piece of art pottery. This item Measures: 10 1/4" from handle to handle. the box is base is approximately 7 1/2" square. It stands at the highest part about 3" tall. The handles are 4" tall.The lid fits entirely over a large lip on the base.
