Description: This wool felt vest was part of my sister's Bluebird / Camp Fire Girls Uniform. I believe most of the decorations are from the 1960's. It includes 15 patches, 1 square wood tadpole emblem, 2 pin-back pins, and 46 beads. The patches include Blue Birds 1 & 2, three Candy sales patches, one Camp Cimarron Patch - Oklahoma City, Okla., one Camp Dakani patch, one thunderbird, 1 arrowhead, and several I am not sure of. Some are homemade. The "C C" and "C" are probably for Camp Cimarron. The horse is probably for horseback riding. The pins are for Advance Beginner Swimmer and 1st Year Needlework Guild of America. The tadpole seems to be stenciled on the wood and it measures about 1.5" square. The beadwork on back is missing some beads. At one time, the name, "Ellen" was spelled out across the bottom. Condition is fairly good with some light wear, and one tiny hole that I see. Bid now to add this interesting treasure to your collection! Buyer is to add $5.50 for domestic shipping via USPS Ground Advantage. International addresses and/or shipping by another method may require an additional charge. Multiple purchases can be combined for reduced shipping costs, but you will need to contact us before sending payment.
