Description: This is a vintage Twin Winton cookie jar made in the 1960s in the USA. The jar is in the shape of a baby elephant wearing a sailor hat and is made of ceramic and porcelain. There is a small chip on its nose and on its foot. There is also tiny pin chips on its body. These areas can probably be touched up so that they are not so noticeable. The top opening has some chips as well. The sailor hat has crazing on it. Please see last six pictures. The bottom has the maker incised and there is a green cross that was painted on during the firing of this cookie jar.Overall, this sweet baby elephant cookie jar is in wonderful shape for its age.
