Description: This is a super unique ring. It must have been a custom made ring. The ring is crafted from 14K Solid Yellow gold. The band features a real paper cigar band with an image of Zachary Taylor. The cigar band is in good condition it is sealed into the gold underlying ring. It appears to be sealed with a clear thick coating. It is very hard to determine what the overlay is, but it keep the original paper under very well preserved. It may be resin or epoxy of some sort. Anyway, it works to safely preseve this ring so that one can wear it daily. Imagine the original owner of this ring... It is not hallmarked but tests and is confirmed as 14K solid yellow gold. The graphics on the cigar band are remarkable and very vibrant.
