The aquamarine shows just a hint of aqua color, and actually in some light, it looks almost like the diamond color. Aquamarine is March's birthstone, and this ring is in excellent condition. The ring features a 6 x 4 mm (about .40 ct) aquamarine set in many secure prongs, in the center. It is bordered by a halo of 12 full-cut diamonds (about .25 ctw) for a total of approximately .65 ctw in aqua and diamonds in the ring. The face measures 1/2" north to south and 5/16" east to west. The ring is hallmarked P14k (P for "Plumb Gold", a vintage gold term meaning exactly 14k, no more and no less). The crisp, clear hallmarks evidence little wear to the ring. It weighs 3.2 grams, is a size 6.25, and is sizeable by any competent jeweler. It is in excellent vintage condition.
