Crisp fine details and beautiful colors. Ornate gilt wood frame. Signed lower left 'Th. Bergner'. Dated 'Oct. 54' at the lower right corner, this date is mostly hidden by the frame. In overall good condition with general age related wear. Typical craquelure. Displays well and beautifully. Frame measures 14" x 12" x 1 5/8" deep. Panel measures 10" x 7 7/8". Retains its original Winsor & Newton London 1843-1856 label. Bearing a label for J.W. Williams' Artist Emporium, located at 37 N 6th Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. James W.
