VERY RARE Kammer & Reinhardt 101 antique bisque, MARIE, character doll c1909

Description: Here is, 8 1/2" tall, RARE, antique bisque sockethead, CHARACTER child, "Marie" doll by Kammer & Reinhardt, c.1909, with beautiful, (rare) blue painted eyes and closed pouty mouth, beautiful bisque, incised: K * R 101. She has the fully jointed* composition and wood body with original finish and brown, hand sewn wig and joints at wrists, elbows, knees, hips and shoulders. (needs to be restrung as stringing is very loose) WONDERFUL, choice little, cabinet-size charmer with precious expression that will fit right into your doll collection. She wears her original charming, antique pink dress* with lace sleeves and layers of original lace trimmed petticoats, pantaloons, original tiny socks, (*dress is melting and requires extensive repair, could be used for pattern for replacement) needs shoes. Excellent bisque with no damages or repairs. A very sought-after model. Other "family members", #114 HANS (listed separately) and #114 GRETCHEN twin sisters, one with brown eyes, (shown for comparison) are NOT included.
