Description: You are buying the US Army chest reserve parachute you see in the photos. The exterior cover shows staining/dirt and it smells a little musty. That said, I don't see any tears and I think it might clean up okay. I also think it's complete other than the packing record being absent from the pocket. The markings are a little difficult to make out, but it looks like the exterior pack was made by JAYVAL Co. in New Mexico with a manufacturing date of 1959. The lady I acquired it from told me her husband was part of a Golden Knights-type parachute team in the early 1960's.
