Description: This is a pair of 18th or 19th century halberd heads, cast in high relief with dragons to each side, and what appears to be a phoenix below. Each side of each head is similarly decorated. Made from iron, they were quite possibly for ceremonial use as the edges, although tapered, are not sharpened. The spike too is rounded. The heads are 19cm tall and measured directly across from the dragons tail they are 15cm wide, though the end of the axe blade does extend this. Surface tarnish as can be seen, and one does have a hole in the stem.
