Description: *UNSMOKED*N.O.S.* STANWELL NORDIC 256 in BOX (STATEMENT SERIES by TOM ELTANG) One of the 5 shapes designed by Tom Eltang for the statement series (the others are 257, 258, 259 and 260). Shape number 256 is based on Jess Chronowitsch's shape 172 (Viking), one of the special 11 Stanwell shapes which are known (as specialty series) not by their shape numbers, but by their names (e.g. Viking). The difference of 256 from Jess Chronowitsch's 172 is on the very elegant stem. In this pipe shape 256 is for Nordic series with the two rings (one copper and one silver). A pipe which is a sitter on either of the two sides of its quite large bowl (similar to Dunhill's Group 6 in size). It is not so easy to find these shapes unsmoked (as they do not circulate in so big numbers). MADE IN DENMARK, offered together with its pouch and box.
