Description: This uncirculated 5 million Turkish lira note was issued in accordance with Law 1970. It was introduced by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1997 and demonetized in 2016. It is a pastel yellow and greenish-brown that bears the signatures of Gazi Ercel and Selcuk Abac. Its obverse side features a map, a golden seal, and Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Its reverse side shows a stylized flame, the sculpture at the entrance of the Road of Lions, and the memorial tomb of Ataturk, also known as the Anitkabir, found in Ankara. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized TCMB, a serial number that has an M-prefix, and a watermark of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Its dimensions are 162 mm x 76 mm.
