Description: Trappey’s “Better Beverage” Bottle Clear bottle with white painted lettering…10 fluid ounce capacity…measuring approximately…8.5” tall Now closed, the Trappey Cannery established their 1st location in 1918 in New Iberia, LA. & in 1929 in Lafayette Louisiana…this bottle is from the Lafayette location, from some time in the 1950’s or possibly 1960’s…they officially closed their doors in 1972 Trappey's Cannery has had a long and colorful history in Louisiana's Creole culinary arts…was founded by Bernard Francis Trappey Sr. & was most known for their canned candied yams & bottled hot pepper sauce Preowned in very good condition…no cracks or chips…all paint is intact but does show discoloration in spots…there is also some residue on the inside of the bottle which I am sure can be removed with a good cleaning…no other damage that I can see
