Description: This is an extremely rare autographed high quality 8x10 matte finish photograph from the silent classic, "The Kid" starring Charlie Chaplin (1921). This extraordinary collage photo has been autographed by Silas Hathaway, who as an infant in 1919, portrayed "Baby John" in the film classic opposite Chaplin himself. This was autographed by Mr. Hathaway in 2016 at his home in southern California, when Silas was in his upper 90s. Sadly, he died the next year in 2017. (See a photo I took when Silas autographed this for me; snapshot not included in the auction.) Mr. Hathaway signed his name and added "the baby in The Kid, 1919" underneath his signature. Note: this is not some preprint or reprint of some nature---this is the actual autographed photo up for auction. Of course, the ebay watermark "screengems" does not appear on the actual item up for auction. Don't hesitate with this piece of memorabilia.
