Description: Beautiful copy of the original 1970 first pressing of the Doors’ Morrison Hotel LP on Elektra EKS-75007. Original red “big E” labels and textured gatefold cover. Jacksonville pressing. The disc is very nearly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. Not a single pop or tick anywhere. There are a couple of very light superficial sleeve wisps but barely. Also a little tiny bit of that faint surface spotting that comes from years of the acid in the paper sleeve, but it isn’t damage or wear at all and doesn’t make any difference in the play, and is barely visible. Really this is a positively gorgeous copy and plays perfectly. The textured cover has a promo cutout hole at the top left, and some light edgewear and rubbed corners. The upper seam is splitting about 2.5” and the lower seam has a 2” split at the center where the edge of the disc touches the cover, but both of these are tight and not all that noticeable. Like I say, some edgewear and corner rubbing but the rest is just beautiful, with no ringwear or damage. This is a truly top original copy, hard to beat.
