Description: Up for auction is a copy of TALES TO ASTONISH #57 from 1964. This KEY ISSUE features an EARLY SPIDER-MAN APPEARANCE AS WELL AS A SPIDER-MAN VS GIANT-MAN AND THE WASP BATTLE! This issue also features the FIRST APPEARANCE of the Wasp's sting and is also infamous for having Spider-Man drawn on the cover with no spider logo on his chest. Book is complete, flat, crease-free with cover and centerfold attached, off-white pages and very good cover gloss. There is some light corner wear consisting of some light blunting and a very small tear on the back right bottom corner. There is some light spine wear consisting of light stress lines. The book presents very well and I would grade it as a Fine/Fine+ except for a small stain mark on the bottom interior cover which doesn't show on the front of the cover. As such, I would knock it down to a Fine-/VG+. This will make an excellent addition to your collection.
