Description: DC SUPER-STARS: DC Super-Stars was an anthology series published from 1976 to 1978. The first eight issues include only reprinted material, with a focus on DC's space-faring heroes like Adam Strange, but starting with #9 the series started publishing all-new stories with a variety of heroes. In issue #12, Clark Kent reminisces about the time when the Super-Teacher from Krypton visited him in Smallville. The robot teacher created several challenges for the young hero in order to test his mastery of his super-powers and if he was ready to a "Superman." ADVENTURE COMICS: Superboy takes over the starring title with issue #453 and continues through #458 then his stories continue in Superman Family #191. SUPERMAN FAMILY: The Superman Family was an amalgamation of the titles Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane, Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen, and Supergirl. The Superman Family became the first DC Comics series in the 80-page Dollar Comic format, consisting of 64 pages of new stories. Superboy - the adventures of the Earth-One Superman as a teenage superhero. This series (#191–198) continued from Adventure Comics #458 and led to the feature leaving the title for its own in 1980, The New Adventures of Superboy. SUPERBOY: Also known as the New Adventures of Superboy, this series was published by DC Comics from January of 1980, until June of 1984, branching off from Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes and from the Superman Family Vol 1. Like its predecessor this title focused on the adventures of young Clark Kent before he became Superman. The majority of his adventures took place in his home town of Smallville, Kansas. The title contains the final appearances of the Earth-One Superboy prior to the eradication of the Earth-One continuity during the Crisis on Infinite Earths.
