The sterling silver shank widens to an equal width as the malachite gemstone. The lines of the bezel continue in an attractive fashion down the band. The ring is a size 12.5. The shank, at its thinnest, is just a little wider than 1/8". The malachite cabochon is 1/2" wide and 3/4" long. The ring face is about 1/4" deep. It weighs 14.2 g. The artist's hallmark is a poorly struck "RJack" (where Jack is offset from the R) for well-known Navajo silversmith Ray Jack. The "Sterling" is also poorly struck on this ring.
