Description: The actual items for sale are pictured. This is a set of Star Wars comics printed by Whitman Publishing in 1977 Here is assessment of each book but I’m not a professional comic dealer. There are the defects I noted. So I can’t guess at a grade but they are on excellent condition and will arrive in a bag with cardboard (non-professional. I did some reading on what to look for. Defects: all books have tan page color, are not brittle, very clean #1 book: minor staple tear, finger fold bottom right hand corner, no tears, spine good, center inside bottom staple paper loose, 1/4 inch tear on the front cover #2 book: very very small, staple tear, tiny fold on lower right hand corner, tiny tear page 11, inside staples perfect #3 book: near perfect spine, cover folds, not bad, center, staple perfect, no tears #4 book: spine perfect, nice center staples, tiny tiny tear on the back cover #5 book: staple tear, rounded corner bottom right hand, no inside paper folds or cover folds, perfect center staples #6 book: cover fold top right hand corner, tiny tear page 11 bottom, center staples perfect, faint page folds Please look at the pictures carefully and make your own assessment also. Whitman Publishing: Whitman editiond are considered "variants", with the exception of Star Wars #`s 1-6. Whitman Star Wars #`s 1-6 were labeled as "reprints" and have reprint stamped in the upper left hand corner and diamond with 35 cents and blank upc in lower left.
