SPIEGELAU ARENA CRYSTAL 2 HANDBLOWN WINE/WATER GOBLETS GERMANY RARE EX.CON.

Description: Very nice pair of Spiegelau "Arena" water or wine goblets which are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or cloudiness. One of the goblets does have a very tiny rough area on the rim, but nothing can be seen, only felt with tip of finger so I think it's probably just a defect from manufacturing. These goblets measure 7 1/2 inches in height and have a 6 oz. capacity. This pattern is discontinued and I believe it dates from midcentury modern era. It is handblown with swirl and horizontal cuts in an unusual contemporary design. The stem is long and faceted and the base is 2 5/8 inches wide so very sturdy. The pieces are signed on the base with the Spiegelau "S" topped with a crown. This is a rare pattern and quite hard to find. I have priced very reasonably.
