Description: A quality custom design by AccuFast2DThis is our custom motorcycle seat pan hinge.The hinge barrel is made of 3/4" round stock. Our hinges are 6 1/2" in length. The fasteners are shoulder bolts so the hinge will ride on a smooth round surface instead on some screw threads. To install:Once you get the alignment of the seat and hinge you can weld the barrel of the hinge directly to the frame cross member. Tack weld the barrel and check the hinge for proper function. Depending on your application you may want to shim the barrel higher or remove some material to make the seat hinge lower. Once you are happy with the fit and function of the hinge and seat you remove the fasteners, spacers and hinge. Now you can finish welding the barrel to the frame. Reassemble and you are ready to ride.Special note: You should consider using some thread locking fluid in your final assembly.
