Description: Up for consideration is this small Cool Vintage Brass Era Hand Air Pump. It measures slightly less than 9 1/2” long in the closed position. It seems to pump air very well. It has what looks like a well oiled leather seal inside which is activated by the finger loop push rod. It has a bump shaped nozzle with threads on the very end, likely for a slip on hose or various attachments. We are not sure of its original intended use. Perhaps a ball pump, cooking, lab or medical use? However, we thought it was Cool enough to have in our brass era collection for several years. It is being sold in “as found” and unpolished condition, including patina & discoloration & character to the brass as can be seen in photos.
