Sinar Copal DB Shutter with Release Cable Estate Item Project Needs CLA

Description: This is a Sinar Copal DB Shutter with Release Cable. From a local estate. Has Issues and damage. Read details below before bidding. Cosmetics-The inner grooves and screws have some rust. Additionally some areas of the metal have corroded completely through. So chunks of rust flake out in those areas. See photos. The shutter speed lever is missing its black wheel grip. Good overall otherwise with some general wear. Operationally the shutter fires but the speeds have not been tested for accuracy. I did notice some issues. When I first tried this the blades tended to stick when I stopped them down but did get better. Additionally the release mechanism does not always return to the set position. Like a spring is not pulling it back enough to lock it in place ?? Sometimes if you pull on the cable it will lock and be ready. I took a peek inside and is fairly clean overall. See last photos. This sat in storage for many years. Would need a CLA or repair to be back to original specs. Good for someone who likes a project. See lots of photos of what you are getting. Sold AS IS. Includes the shutter and release cable seen above. The cable has wear and paint loss where you screw it in. Nothing else is included. Will be well packed for safe shipping.
