Description: Continental silver(.800) size 14 niello pocket watch, c1900, in running order but not guaranteed as service history unknown. 46mm(exc.crown/bow) close fitting bezel with a few almost unseen marks but intact cross pattern niello. Case has lost a little niello edge banding near the 9 position. Securely hinged cover with undamaged niello and empty gold cartouche. Stamped internally with a case number(722248) only. Hinged cuvette stamped internally with continental hallmarks and .800. 10 jewel pin set cylinder movement is currently running strongly(occasionally after a small shake) but not timed for accuracy and would benefit from a service. Very tidy collectable niello watch. Please study all the images carefully as they comprise an integral part of the description - if uncertain, please ask, before bidding! Note that high resolution images exaggerate even the slightest imperfection and that whilst all known faults have been highlighted, prospective buyers should form their own opinions of condition.
