Description: Samuel Langhorne Clemens [1835 1910] better known by his pen name Mark Twain was an American writer, humorist, entrepreneur, publisher and lecturer. Among his novels are, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer [1876] and its sequel the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn [1884] with the latter often called ''The Great American Novel''. Listed for auction is a stunning display which contains the authenticated autograph of Mark Twain. The autograph is signed ''Mark Twain'' in black fountain pen on a page and the signature is bold and displays wonderfully. The page measures 3.50 x 1.75 inches, it has trivial toning otherwise it is in fine condition. The autograph has been authenticated by JSA Authentication Services and will be accompanied with the above Letter of Authenticity. The display is centered around a wonderful portrait of Mark Twain. The image is a quality print which measures 7.00 x 9.00 inches. Mounted below his portrait is his autograph as described above along with a professionally engraved metal plaque which contains a quote from Twain and reads as follows, Samuel Langhorne Clemens.
