However, before he began his career in music he received formal training at Ealing College of Art in London in the sixties. Not wishing to rest on his laurels as on of The Faces or as a Rolling Stone, he has continued studying the techniques which he was taught at Art School, painting and drawing both contemporaries and associates. In some ways the artist and musician are inseparable and perhaps it is this which makes his work unique. Since his first collection of Monotypes and woodcuts in 1984 he has worked with Studios in America and Britain, producing further graphics in other mediums such as Screenprinting and Drypoint. Following his successful exhibitions in the UK, USA & Japan, in 1989 Ronnie Wood will exhibit throughout Europe and America a new series of work which will include oil paintings, works on paper and all his recent graphics."
