It's not often I get to share with strangers about my childhood friend who lived a short 15 years but in that time she was a shining beacon of light in good times and bad. The J. Geils Band was a favorite and I believe she may have even attended a concert of theirs. I still hear her in my memories shouting out "J. Geils!". It's bittersweet parting with this wonderful mirror but I hope it goes to someone who can still hear themselves, or others (in their memories) shouting and singing along to this fabulous band.
