Description: This is a RARE 7 1/2 inch Salad Plate by Fostoria Glass. The Pattern of the piece is called Spartan and nicknamed Grannies' Glasses for the design's optical needle etched design. This piece is in the color called Orchid- a very light dusky purple. This color of the Spartan pattern was only produced by Fostoria from 1927-1929 making these pieces very Rare. This is Fostoria needle etching #80. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. I am an experienced glass shipper, so the item will be wrapped carefully, double boxed and insured.
