Description: Rare NOS Cadillac Gold Key Blank - #12 VATS Ignition for Brougham, Fleetwood, Concours, DeVille, Eldorado, Seville, & Allante This is a NOS (New Original Stock) Gold Key blank with the Cadillac Wreath & Crest on both sides of the head. The VATS (Vehicle Anti-theft System) ignition key was used on Cadillacs produced from 1989 to 2002. The VATS ignition key has no letter code, but it has a small black pellet embedded in the key stalk. There were 15 different VATS keys were originally produced. They are all visually identical. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER A KEY IF YOU HAVE NOT MEASURED THE ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE (IN OHMS) OF YOUR CURRENT KEY. If you have questions or need help, please ask. In order to determine which VATS key you need, you'll need to measure the electrical resistance value of the pellet in your current key (in ohms).
