Description: RARE Belleek Standing Fish Spill Ivory Vase 1st Green Mark 1946-55 "A" Damaged Fish spill vase by Belleek, made in Ireland. Measures just about 7 1/8 inches tall. Luster finish. Marked with the Belleek 4th mark (1st green) mark that dates this to 1946-1955. The original piece was issued in the 1890's. VERY hard to find both the early and later pieces. Flaws:Damage - the fish's right tail is broken off and missing. Also, there is a shallow, pinky-tip size flake off the base. Have shown close-up images of the missing fin as well as of the missing flake on the base as well as how it looks when the fish is standing.Flaw - Manufacturing flaw on one dorsal fin that appears as a seam about half way across where the fin was attached to the fish. It doesn't go through to the vase and is only on one side. May have been an issue with these?, as it also shows on one side of the second piece being listed, though on that one, the seam goes all the way across - again, just on one side. Offering a second piece also with lesser flaws. Happy to combine if still available.
