Description: This rare antique chocolate pot or pitcher hand painted and decorated by Richard Klemm is a stunning piece of Dresden Art Porcelain from the 1900s. It features four panels with delicately hand painted alternating florals and Watteau romantic couples, amongst heavily applied gold swirls and details. The lid is included and the pitcher is designed with a drip-free lip for easy pouring. Measuring about 5 1/4” High with lid, 3 1/4” Diameter at the base and a little over 5” from spout to handle, this small pitcher is perfect for all occasions. It is an original piece from Germany. This chocolate pot or pitcher is a must-have for collectors of antique kitchenware and serves as a wonderful conversation starter. It is in excellent condition with two very tiny marks on the rim which I’ve included pictures of. I don’t believe the lid is an original lid, but it fits and was included when I purchased it. The bottom has the Richard Klemm Dresden mark which was registered in 1888, and is one the early Dresden marks. Klemm’s marked pieces are highly sought after Dresden items and this one is marked at a buy it now price which won’t last long! Please look at all my pictures as they are part of the description and used to show the quality and condition of my items.
