Description: This is a withdrawn "Permanent Library Copy" from the University of Chicago Press from the personal library of a former Professor of Classical Languages at the University of Chicago. The only stamp I could find is on page 15 stating not to remove from the press and the rear inside board as shown. There are two paper labels which had been removed a very long time ago to both inside boards, but I can find no other library markings. There are several pages with penciling as shown. I photographed a heavily penciled page as an example. They may be carefully erased. Otherwise the book is in near Very Good Condition with soiling to the covers and a firm binding, deckled page edges, 686 pages with Notes, Bibliography and Index. International buyers pay $9.99 shipping to eBay hub. U.S. Shipping is $9.99 for USPS Media Mail.
