Description: A pair of vintage Nippon handpainted vases. The mark was one made for the domestic Japanese market since 1906. These are a tad over 12" tall by 7" across the handles. One of them has an old chip on the back ruffled edge , it appears to have been there quite a while, it is smooth and someone painted gold on it. This appears to be a fairly easy fix for a pottery restorer if you wanted to go that route. Both have some areas with rubs or marks and there is the typical scattered gold wear.
