Description: These are gems that I have chosen to be suitable for Precious Metal Clay casting, most are 6A quality cubic zirconia because for oval cut these look the best by far. But for some colours CZ is not possible because although the stone easily withstands the heat, the colour changes, so for these stones I have used nanosital which does not have the fire and brilliance of cz, but has the colour of a natural stone which can be heated without any colour change. Blow torch: There is no official testing done of using these stones with a blow torch, but I have tested CZ myself and the stones listed below, up to 6mm in width have not been affected by a direct flame on them at the hottest point for 2 minutes. The stones over 6mm shattered, nanosital stones didn't. Below are the melting points of cz and nano, nano crystal can only be used with precious metal, silver and gold, but other metals like iron are too hot.
