Description: Vintage Pimpernel Tropical Fish Placemats Maria Ryan Nautical Decor. Set of 4 placemats 15.7" x 11.7". Box is not in good shape and will not send unless the buyer requests it. Items were used but are in good condition. One of the placemats has some scratches on it but you can't see them unless you hold them up to a bright light. The placemat with the red/blue/yellow fish has a small nick on the side. This cork backed tablemats are made of a design printed on paper which then has a coating of liquid lacquer applied to it. This is then heated to a very high temperature which when dries forms an extremely hard, protective surface. The center of these placemats is composed of hardboard made from renewable Eucalyptus trees and the base has a soft cork backing which protects your table.
