Description: Great pair of mid century mimalist polished chrome lamps. I bought them as 'mantel' lights for my fireplace, and they work super there, but really could go anywhere you want. Nice simple design, works great with any interior type. Thick, heavy, extremely well made. Super quality, not like the complete junk you would find today. All original, includind sockets and cords, they work like they should. A few superficial scratches and tiny pits, they will not photograph well, and the are barely noticeable unless you are a couple inches from them. The back side is a little dirty, a good cleaning probably would not hurt. I've seen them listed as a paul mayen design for habitat, but I have not found any defining document of that. It definitely looks like his designs, maybe even early george kovacs. They produce a great inderect light that lights up a whole room. Each measures 10" tall, 4" wide, and 2"deep.
